A mirror intensifies and reflects and a Feng Shui Principle is let the outdoors in. As long as it’s not in opposition to her bed, it would be a wonderful way to get some outside energy in. Mirrors should never be smaller then your head so don’t make it too small…it would then cut off your Aura which is your energy field. I don’t know why your mother is resistant, however. It might help her.

Thank you for the interesting piece on mirrors- I have used mirrors to make small spaces more comfortable years before I knew what Feng Shui was, and I would never put them as you said in view of the bed, but I was told a mirror opposite a window can add good light to a room and it makes sense to me- My mother is depressed and lives in a townhouse (long rooms with one window only) - I am trying to convince her to place at least a smallish mirror opposite her window in her two longest rooms (living room and bedroom) to bring more light in and create movement throughout her space but she is resistant…

Greetings! Don’t panic, hanging a curtain was a good thing to do, you don’t want to feel that a mirror is pushing you out. You can also deflect that energy with two large vases with silk flowers in front of the mirrors. They look pretty and help stop that flow of energy.
If your kitchen sink is in the wealth area you can do a few simple things: place a small round mirror under the sink–under the pipe to deflect the drain energy away. You can also add an upgrowing plant to keep your money from going down the drain. Place it as close to the sink or above it if possible.
An old but useful Black Sect method to double your money is to put a mirror behind your burners of the stove. The burners are money and the mirrors intensify it. It should not be broken up mirrors, rather one piece cut specifically for the backsplash.

I had to hang a curtain over my bedroom wall to wall mirror. Opposite was a window and the energy was like a ping pong game.
What can I do? My kitchen sink is in the wealth corner and I can’t keep my money together.I did hang some coins up but I dont know if I contribute to my wealth going down the drain.Your advice is much appreciated.
